This is the story of the Christchurch Environment Centre, the first Centre of its kind in Aotearoa/NZ. The Centre celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2003.

This documentary film came out of a series of oral history interviews with several peace activists, covering 1938-1999. Those interviewed talk about their personal stories covering topics such as being imprisoned as a pacifist for the duration of WW2, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in the 1950s, the Peace Squadron in the 1970s and 80s, New Zealand's Nuclear-Free protest movement, the sinking of the Greenpeace flagship - the Rainbow Warrior in 1985, the campaign for a Nuclear Free Pacific, the World Court Peace project, and the USA invasion on Iraq in the early 1990s. This film was released in 2005
